i had a great time working on these cats... trying to find that balance between cute, spooky, fun wasn't easy for me in one design so i did 3 :)

here they are! Devil Dolls, SleleCatS, and Love At First Bite.

each cat comes with the possibility of carrying brand new traits... :) and they also have a broom in their animation which you can wear and fly around with and your cat rides along with you!

Felines & Fashion & Fun

I've not posted for a while... I've been uber busy and having a lot of fun creating different things. The platinum hunt was a lot of fun and this first photo is of one of the items from Adorkable Poses, I really love it! It has a bunch of fun poses, is MOD, and was a lot of fun to play with. I got my little cat to jump up for the shot :)

This week we released our 1.09 update and extension which included 2 fun new features. One is "Pet & Play" where you OR anyone who wants to can interact and pet your KittyCat! Adorkable Peapod worked with us creating great animations with so many variations! So now you can relax, pamper or spoil any KittyCat you see just with ONE click. (no need to swap ownership)

the KittyCatS just love it so far and so do I. I find myself working while being in the "relax" mode with my cat. (seen below)

KittyCatS! is excitedly participating in the platinum hunt :) Our cats wanted us to make a special collar for them so... of course we did. (we know who the real bosses are) Along with their collar in the gift box are "owners" collars... that match theirs. (they are quite generous and like their owners to have little gifts too)

anyway... these work on a KittyCatS! cat, (the collar for the cat) but the rest can be used by anyone... if you want more info on KittyCatS! you can check out our inworld group KittyCatS Addicts or visit the KittyCatS! sim and take a look at the kitties roaming the place.

PLATINUM HUNT!!! simply priceless !

i'm part of the platinum hunt in 2 ways this year... one under the caLLie cLine brand where i have put out some very very detailed never released jeans. i LOVED making these jeans and took a VERY long time adding tons of details... i really hope you like them :) they come with a pair of sculpted cuffs too that are embellished to match the jeans....

in the photo i am holding 2 little cuties... a white russian KittyCat with "platinum eyes" and my sweet little Flame kitty with soft fold ears and gerbera blue eyes :) i opted for them instead of a shirt :P

oh i am also wearing some hair from Milana and a Lara Hurley skin... and the collar is from the KittyCatS gift which will see more about in my next post! :)

hello all you fashionistas out there AND other SL readers who have KittyCatS! (and those of you who don't)

We have just released our new "starter" packs... what this means is... the Kittens that are bought in our shop contain new "genes" including a brand new breed, and some other furs and eyes and now "whiskers" that can come in different types :) (btw... we love seeing how you "wear" your cats to match your outfits)


a mix of KittyCat Breeds.

Our new Kitten Packs contain the 5 "genesis" cats which hold ALL the traits for all the other breeds. When you purchase a new pair (or pairs) your cats will include their own genes, and will be one of the 5 "Genesis". (in the photo above the middle black and white is "Domino" one of the Gensis cats)

If you are new to breeding cats this is a great time to try it out. You can get a pair with a weeks worth of food if you want to give it a try OR... you can go to many of the awesome KittyCatS markets our customers own (look in search) and see some of the beautiful cats they have bred. (all the others in the photo are just a few)

in honor of SL8B (the 2 week long second life birthday party) KittyCatS! has made a special "Magic Birthday Cat" that we are giving out as a gift to all of SL.

The Collectors KittyCat comes with food (that looks like a birthday cake with 8 candles on it) is born from a Magician's Hat, and also comes with a little hat, cape and magic wand that your cat can wear when it grows up.

RFL of SL & KittyCatS! announcement...

WOW, it's been a crazy few months. I've been loving the KittyCatS! community & all the awesome people I get to meet & chat with. It's been a fun challenge for me personally moving into a different way of doing "art" but it's been really fun too.

We recently were asked to create an "official" Relay For Life of Second Life special KittyCat and after hearing the details, we were thrilled to say "yes".

The KittyCat will be presented at the Home Expo on Saturday and Equinox & I have the honor of presenting it... no clue what I'm gonna say but I'm sure I'll be nervous!

Tommy & me... he's a large male Bengal Sorrell who let me put a girly collar on him!

This is personally special to me for a few reasons... one is due to being so busy with the KittyCatS! I was unable to join Fashion Fair which my dear friend Harper Beresford did for RFL. I really wanted to be able to participate... Also, the woman who invited me into SL, Sue Stonebender, was VERY involved in RFL from the beginning and my first ever "charity" thing in SL was a limited Edition gown that I got to do with Sue... also... I've met so many people in SL who have battled cancer, some have won, some are still fighting and some sadly lost the battle but I wont ever forget the impact they had in my life.

I'll write more later as for now it's off to keep working on the cat for the expo :) it's really fun :)

Relay For Life of Second Life & KittyCatS! Partner for a specially commissioned RFLofSL KittyCatS! cat to benefit the American Cancer Society.

RFL of SL is thrilled to announce that KittyCatS! will be creating a special RFL of SL “KittyCatS Cat” that will be presented at the Home Expo on May 14th.

Both the RFL team and The KittyCatS! team (Callie Cline, Dennis Lagan & Equinox Pinion) are equally excited about this partnering and thrilled they could work together for this very special cause.
The new KittyCat will make its debut at the Home Expo on May 14th.

Callie Cline and Equinox Pinion will be presenting the new kitty on the Expo’s Main Stage at 12:30 pm, followed by the launch of a live music concert with Mankind Tracer. This marks the first time that RFL of SL has joined in a partnership of this type and they look forward to the KittyCatS’ presence at Relay Team Events, at the Expo and at Relay weekend, right alongside the Linden Bears.

I've been busy in KittyCatS! land and having a fun time. I designed these cats for our Spring Collection. It was a lot of fun and they turned out quite different than when I started... it's fun to see what comes out when doing any creative project.

I had so much FUN making these KittyCatS for the St. Patrick's Day holiday. They have Emerald eyes and collars and are sold singly, as a boy or girl or in pairs. if you breed these 2 special KittyCatS you can have a special Leprekitten... and only 100 of those will ever be born.


it's not easy being green.

I'll be putting out my green bowas and "kiss me all clover" stuff too in my store... but wanted to show you these first :)

They are available at the KittyCatS sim, Pampered Pets in So caL, and The Mango Yacht club. They are transferable too so they could make a cute gift for someone who likes green leopard cats!

OOOOOH and Barnesworth Anubis made a CUTE Leprecat Hideway house for them that's SO adorable :) it's at all the locations too :)

my personal cat tale... (the edited version)

domino and me in the park

a few years ago i started working on a little project making little cats that my customers would be able to carry in purses or use as fashion accessories. when the whole maxim/pontiac thing happened that project, was put on the shelf. when i began designing i had a cat in each of my little stores that walked around and bumped into my customers. i've always loved them and own about 8 different kinds of SL cats. (non breeding ones)

my first SL cat who was copy and in each store

in RL my first pet was a cat. a grey persian my parents bought me for my one year old birthday. susie was her name. i don't remember her at all now, (she sadly got ran over when i was very young). but my whole life growing up i always had a cat of my very own. i grew up on a "farm" not a real farm but for southern california, 5 acres with pigs, horses, sheep, cows, ducks, peacocks, chickens, a goat (yes i had to milk it before school) and horses and more i guess can qualify for a farm of sorts. i collected eggs also before school... i didn't like the milking and egg collecting so much, but the horses and my cats always. we also raised dogs. english springer spaniels, german shepherds, doberman pinschers and... staffordshire terriers (yes, pit bulls). it was always fun to have little puppies running around and stuff. but nothing every took the place of my kitties to me. (ok well my pet raccoon did when it was a baby before it bit me)

fast forward to now... early this week, KittyCatS! was launched. it's a project i've been working on for quite a while with 2 people i met in SL who are also cat lovers. Equniox Pinion & Dennis Lagan. We've created a pet KittyCat that can breed, and play and cuddle and interact and it's been quite an adventure to say the very least. (they come in 5 types to start and can be bred where a LOT of different kinds of cats will be discovered. they can also but turned into pets which require no food and don't breed but just are nice pets who love you.)

this project though challenged me as an artist in a lot of ways, mostly learning to paint in a 3d program. YIKES! i'm still learning and have a LONG way to go, but it's been fun too. (my main job was making the cats and the visuals, and all kind of stuff)

sometimes i wonder if all of us in SL are a little bit crazy, and i surely thought i was many times during this project. fighting sculpties was NOOOO fun. thankfully some awesome people we there to help me on that part of the project, Gospel Voom, Maxwell Graf and Anthonys Repbulic were invaluable in their input and encouragement and willingness to offer tips and support. awesome people!

anyway... lest i go on and on... if you'd like to see our little KittyCatS! you can get a peak at them on our sim... named simply KittyCatS . you'll find them walking around, chasing butterflies, sleeping, running, washing their faces, lying around and more. our store was built by my longtime great friend barnesworth anubis who has stuck with me in my first venture into the SL animal world when we started making posh chicken housing... and boy what a wild ride it's been. he's created some outstanding stuff for the KittyCatS and it's available in the store as well.

in closing this post, i'd just like to thank a few people who's support really was so so appreciated personally by me. words really can't say how thankful i am to them. well first to equinox and dennis, thanks for everything and most of all being committed to excellence and hard work. i'm amazed by both of you in more ways than i can express. jaz zephyr & moondoggy, harper beresford, meara deschanel, sexypandora bailey, bho, barnes, stroker serpentine, tab scott, gospel, maxwell, anthony, night singh, and also jon, who i worked with on the sculpts. he wouldn't dare come into secondlife, but i'm gonna try to get him to read this post! (hi jon!) (we worked together on RL projects i've done) there are a lot of other people who gave me a lot of support during this time so if i have forgotten anyone... please forgive me!

well that's my little cat tale for now... it's a story i hope will continue on for some time.

i've missed blogging and will hopefully do more soon!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

hello... i just wanted to write a very quick note saying "thank you". i'm thankful for so much today as i reflect on the amazing amounts of blessings i have in my life. some that come to mind are:

1. my orange tree in my back yard that faithfully gives delicious oranges every year
2. my little dog who is just always so fun and cute
3. my Chinese magnolia tree that sits outside my window and displays beautiful pink blooms a few times a year
4. a really nice warm bed to sleep in with TONS of pillows
5. a bunch of family i'll be seeing very soon.
6. some wonderful people i've met in SL who are customers, friends, and biz associates.

i could go on and on i think for days.... i was thinking about... how many blessings are around me and how much i have to be thankful for, it was pretty cool, then i thought about how many problems i could find if i wanted to think about that...

i think what i am most thankful for today is seeing in a new way how there are SO many things around us, things we can be thankful for or things that are "problems" and WOW. i think i'll try to think more on those things that are the blessings!

have a great thanksgiving and thanks for being friends, customers, acquaintances, and for who you are.

ECHO'S SONG... a new version... 50L friday special...

hey all, this is my 50L friday offering this week. a version of the Echo's song gown i made for DU19.

it's really pretty on and since it's sheer and comes in all layers you can wear all the layers for a non sheer look. skirt is mod too so you can adjust the transparancy.

i also have my winter snowflakes out for 50L just for today for the boys :)

oh this post is not advertising anything although i am wearing some vintage digit darkes and new idyra shoes... i think truths hair and some old shiny things earings... when i saw this photo on my desktop today, i thought about how life has been a stretch lately in a lot of different ways.

it doesn't always feel good or i guess look good. they say the results are good. a very dear member of my family passed away in the past couple weeks and another close family member had a close call with leaving this life, but for now they're staying around.

i've heard from some of you that similar "stretches" are happening in different areas of your life and i guess this photo can be a humorous way to say, "bend just don't break" and "you're not the only one!"

hang in there, take time to laugh at yourself, especially when you're being stretched and look like this!

WOW! what awesome response we've all had to this event! thank you! we're so so glad you're enjoying it!

today i'm showing GRIM BABIES "zombie twin back pack" their 110L item, which is MOD so i made it with glowy brains haha! i lOVE it for this time of year, if you have not checked out GRIM BABIES and orpan isle it's a GREAT build and GRIM MISFIT is a veteran SL resident oozing with creativity and kindness.

WOW, yesterday was a really fun day for the kick off of the event! thanks to everyone who sent nice notes and im's and thank you for your enthusiasm!

today i'm showing one of the 110L items. this one from Indyra Originals. these can be found at any of the 10 locations and her 10L item is SOOOOOO cute! i bought it myself and LOVE it!

these shoes were made for the event and a full line at regular price in 12 colors will come out after the event so this is a great time to pick up a pair of classic meets funky meets cool shoes! they come with her hud to give yourself pedicures and all that stuff :)

i'm not sure where her 10L gift was... but it is SO cute. i think hmmm well i forgot! and we're not really supposed to tell anyway.

here's one more thing in keeping with our theme from Indyra :)

Indyra's under 10 minute thing to do: Give a notecard to 10 people random people or people on your friends list reminding them they are beautiful just the way they are. (and don't put, "if you think i am too send it back to me" hahaha)

yes it's a once in a lifetime event for most of us (the date) and there are some interesting reads about its significance.

for us in SL it means today starts a 10 day event with 10 content creators who have made 10 items for 10L each and 10 items for 110L each. EACH creator has a kiosk in their shop with ALL 10 of the 110L items and ONE random 10L item. (meaning, you won't find my 10L item in my shop, and that's the TRUTH!) hahaha. so it's a celebration, sale and mini hunt of sorts! also, each day one of the 10 will give a little suggestion of something we can do in 10 minutes to make the world or SL a little bit of a better place! (i know im cheesy...)

creating this dress was truly a metamorphosis.

it started as a man's white suit... then an evening gown, with a small butterfly broach...
that broach became a mini skirt option, then around that option i made a new bodice, and then a new top, sleeves and from one little gold butterfly this whole new dress emerged.

a fun and creative experiment.

2 years ago, a very sweet girl wrote me asking if i'd create a custom gown for her for the miss virtual world pageant. after speaking to her i just fell in love with her heart and after seeing a sample photo of something she liked as inspiration, i thought i would be able to really put my heart into making something for her. during fittings and styling times, we chatted a lot and i can say, became friends.

the "miss denmark" then, is now a very creative designer and it's been SO great to see her creations. yesterday after getting her notecard, i wrote her to tell her how happy i was for her and we got to chatting and swapped out latest creations and I LOVED THIS DRESS SO SO SO MUCH i HAD to blog it.

Designers United Four

Nil and Lu have done a fabulous job coordinating the Designers United events and I'M SO HAPPY i finally had time to join one! our theme was "narcissus" either the flower or the myth...

i was taken by the various versions of the story of Narcissus, someone so beautiful all he could do was stare at himself... he missed out on life and love, being the sole focus of his attention. for me it is a timeless story and though we may not all stare in a still pool admiring ourselves, often we are the sole focus in our worlds and limit the possibilities that surround us.

i tried to capture reflection, transparency, water and the flower into my design... in the end i had 3 designs that to me captured the story; Echo's Song (the girl who loved him), Narkissos, (his name in greek) and Mirror Mirror.

i'll say no more and let you interpret the story through the designs, if you wish. the items will be available in this version only for the duration of the event. (each dress comes with the jewelry and accessories shown) * to find these when you tp go RIGHT and go FAR down the winding path and i'll be on the left corner when you get to the end near some AMAZING designers, Lu and Nil are there too!

Hello,

After returning from a very much needed holiday and break, I am beginning to sort through emails, notecards and have found so many kind notes, invitations to events, and I just wanted to thank you all.

My notecards and inventory in SL have been strange lately, (meaning a lot of them don't load or show up after it says "so and so gave you this note".) I'm not quite sure why, but I am in the process of working on it again with LL.

So this note is a note to say thank you. Thank you for thinking of me for your events, faires, hunts, groups, and all the wonderful things you are doing. I'm sorry I've not been able to reply nor participate in them all but I want you to know that I feel honored to be asked. So many of you do such amazing things in SL and I hear so much about how awesome your things are.

So again, as I organize and sort through things I wanted to say a huge thank you to all the event coordinators, designers, managers, bloggers, and all of you who contribute to our very alive and vibrant and diverse community.

Barnesworth Anubis and I have created a special Strawbunneh Collection for the Ozimals Bunnies and their Summer Strawberry Festival Hunt.

hey! if you didn't know the SL7B birthday bash is happening NOW and will be open until july 3rd although live music ends tomorrow.

i have an exhibit there. this year's theme is "unexpected collaborations" and my exhibit is called "DREAM ON" it's a variation of my exhibit from SL5B and in the "first part" is a bedroom with my journal pages all over talking about my 'dreams' of and people's ive met. i write about my dreams to be a designer, model, and more. you see my newbie photos and get to just see "some things" i dream about in my room.

after that there is a tp that takes you up to the second part of the "dream" where it shows some of the dreams realized. collaborative things from the current PN - CC tail with psychotic neko and the pampered pet company with barnesworth anubis and more.

most everything we do in SL is a collaborative effort in one way or another. and i've had the most awesome opportunities to collaborate with some of the most amazing companies and people. when i was building this installation, i realized just how much collaboration plays a part in most any effort. my good friend aurora jacks helped me put some nice touches on the room and dj shane hornet arranged for my stream for video and audio to be set up.

it was quite humbling to see that everything i do depends on something someone else did. even if i "think" i did it alone. i realized i didn't. (even this computer i'm typing on someone made) the interdependency of humans was realized in a bigger way than i'd ever contemplated.

up in the dream with collaboration examples including: nebulosis severine (swan song jewelry), bing sewell (RL mag cover, Elle mag RL) SC tracy for icon mag shoot, tuli for best of SL mag cover (she made the pose), deja vu mag, as well as collaborations with Pontiac (ad campaign), MAXIM mag, (HOT 100 issue) and more stuff and the teaser for the upcoming collab with JAZ !!!! a real "retro" sl'er haha. :P

if you go... make sure to get your free magic balloon (it's much better to fly around when you experience the exhibit) and turn OFF music when you get there but turn ON media, then before you tp up turn ON music, set to MIDNIGHT, and turn OFF media for the most interactive experience :)

i'm not quite sure what i want to say in this post but i have the desire so write. i hate doing stuff like this at times due to my sometimes superstitious nature of "omg if i do that does it mean i'm gonna die?"

a lot of deaths have happened this week and today we reflect on those who gave their lives so we can live better.

this year i've personally had a few people very close to me die. all of which were sudden. one from suicide who was a life long friend. one from a brain hemorrhage one due to undiagnosed stomach cancer. those were the most recent.

i was just in my back yard reading the memorial program from ronnie james dio's funeral a friend gave me who attended (gave me to read). i wasn't a fan and yet i sat captivated for the last 20 minutes reading what an impact he had on so many people who's letters to him were in the program. the one from lars ulrich of metalica made me cry. he said "i wanted to call you and sorta pussied out cuz i felt the last thing you needed was to think about returning a call from me. i wish now i had."

this was written by a person ronnie considered a friend and business associate. it made me cry, his whole letter was so vulnerable.

i thought of "unfinished business" i have with people in personal relationships and business matters too actually. the arrogance of man is we will always have "tomorrow". we won't and don't.

i tend to put off "hard things" especially if it's emotionally "uncomfortable". for some reason reading ronnie's program, coupled with the deaths this week of so many notable people, mixed with this year's' personal deaths to memorial day i'm thinking a bit more about things "i don't want to think about."

i met dennis hopper once at a concert my then best friend was doing. he was funny, mysterious, handsome and captivating and very sweet. my friend and i lost touch over now what seems like a very trivial matter. i know she'll be at dennis' service. will i write her because i'm feeling moved now or will i think i "should" until god forbid i get a call one day to find she's passed? i don't know what i will do but now i'm thinking i could. will i or will i let that moment pass and will i choose to NOT do it and let myself be distracted by, oh a bazillion or so things only to one day say... "oh i meant to."

of course i have many reasons i've NOT written her or called. we all have our reasons. are they worth it should we lose the opportunity to "make that call" forever?

i miss my friends who passed. my relatives. i have no regrets there. but i do have some "unfinished business" with some folks AND also just miss some people who "if" i were to lose them, i'd regret not letting them know how much they mean to me.

being involved a "tiny" bit in RFL and other things in SL where i've learned of people dying too brings the reality of "here today gone tomorrow" into a sobering perspective for me at this moment.

usually i let these moments slip away planning on thinking about them later. today i stopped, excused myself and am writing this "staying in this moment" rather than eating more shrimp and bruscetta (a little memorial day feast going on here atm).

now that i got that all out, i think i will continue and write my old friend that i love and miss terribly. then i may also write a few other people.

and in closing, thanks to all of you who make my secondlife memorable. everyone i meet impacts me in some way. i've far too many blessings to count them all in this post as far as people in SL. but truly, thank you. even those i've never met, i may have heard about you, what you do, how you impact others, how kind you are, helpful, challenging, artistic, and more. i'm smiling now thinking of just what a vast pool of amazing people are in community. and this weekend a few of us had some really fun times too at an impromptu 2 night "fashion on the farm" party. haha, what fun that was. more memories.

that makes closing this post a bit less heavy and so thank you all for that and now i'm gonna continue on and reach out to a few people and stay in this moment i can feel myself fighting to "put off".

ICON MAGAZINE - worth the wait

over a year ago i was asked by ICON magazine to be on their cover. actually they weren't even a magazine yet and i was asked if i'd want to be the first person to appear on the cover. after some chats with them about what kind of magazine it would be, etc. i agreed. their concept changed during their planning and so i was going to be the second or 3rd cover...

then i got busy... they got busy... and finally this may i have the honor of being in icon magazine. it's really timely and special to me for a few reasons and one reason i didn't know about until the magazine came out and i read the publishers note from Wil Dreadlow. I grew to really admire and respect Wil since the day we first spoke and even though our interactions were limited, i admired him as a person. we spoke about the cover and what ideas for it, and of course i couldn't think of "one" look i wanted so i said, "hey what about if we did 2 covers!" he agreed.

the process of choosing the "looks" for the cover was challenging for me as i like so many looks and have a hard time picking one thing in anything. (don't even ask about ordering at a restaurant with a large menu!)

in the end the creative process took over, (yay for that) and these are the 2 covers that came out of it. I had the honor of working with SC Tracy for the cover and inside spreads and I learned a lot, was challenged, and in the end, i'm pretty happy with the outcome. sure now i see things i wish i would have "fixed" on the retouching i did, but i think an artist always looks back on their work and sees things they missed.

oh... the special reason for this magazine? well one was a lot of different people i've met in SL from my closest friends and OLDEST to some new friends appear inside the magazine in a fun spread. another reason was being able to finally debut some things under the "nekoture" brand i've been working on for 3 years (as time permits) and also wearing new "makeover™" makeups i've been working on. then another surprise that made this a bit more poignant. i learned when reading wil's note he was retiring from ICON and SL to tend to RL things so i was the last person to appear on the cover with him as the owner. i will miss him and am thankful i had the honor of meeting him. he's a great man.

I have always wanted my own "tail" and even tho it took a long time to get a "pampered kitty" tail :) it was well worth the wait as PN has the most amazing scripted tails i've ever seen... i am beyond honored that Obyri did this special tail ;) and I think her tails are the BEST i've seen bar none! but more too on that in another post!!

barnes and i had a great time on the designing world show talking about our pet homes n stuff. it was a rocky start due to SL issues... (i know huh?? can u believe it???) but in the end we had a FABULOUS time!

thank you SO much to all of you who wait SOO patiently to see us and hear BARNES SPEAK!! i know cool huh???

we had a FABULOUS response and it was SO much fun to hear from so many of you in IM!! hahaha. i tried to say hi to as many of you as possible but it was hard hahah.

"THE PAMPERED PET COMPANY" live today on treet tv!!!

today at 2pm sl time we'll be on tv?? who??? barnes and me! details below!

as some of you know... barnesworth anubis and i started a little venture into "petland" last year when the sion chickens were clucking away... i wanted to make something "cute" and "stylish" for my chickens, and when barnes saw my "building skills" haha, he agreed to "help out"... our first brand "benedict & florentine" was born, catering to "pampered pets" with a focus on the fun chickens.

later in the year we started creating habitats and environments for the Ozimals bunnies, which were released in January under the new line "veLveteen".

folks have taken a liking to our homes from the early chicken days using them for pets of all kinds which was our hope as in SL why put your pets in a normal house when you can put them in anything?

well today we will be featured on the tv show "designing worlds" as part of their home and garden expo. we were so honored they asked us to be on the show! it will be shown live at 2pm SLT and you can view it on our SO CAL sim in the enchanting "velveteen" gardens. (if you come to watch please deprim and de script as much as possible to avoid lag, thanks so much!)

we'll be showing homes for pets of all kinds and touring out exhibit on the HOME EXPO sim. we hope u can watch or stop by during the expo and see the awesome stuff and visit our place!

the show can be viewed live at the exhibit as well at the treet tv exhibit and we'll have gifts for all the people who show up at the viewing station on so as well as the expo!

im SO excited about the new viewer as i will be releasing a ton of "makeover™" makeups... :)

i used to be a makeup artist in my late teens and early twenties, doing mostly stuff for record albums, bands and music videos, so i'm really excited about the new viewer with the tatoo layer option!

sure ill have "cakeovers, fake overs, bake overs, and any overs you can think of :)" i'm having a blast making them and YAY i can keep wearing my nevermore skins forever!!! hehe.

i'm sure some will be more popular than others, when talking to a bunch of bloggers the "acne overs" didn't go over so well but the did like it's solution!! "zitter!"

i know i'm a dork, that's been established long ago but i am really excited :) i'm sure there will be alot of amazing things coming out from creators with this new feature!

been busy too with a LOT of SL project and RL ones too. so this makeover thing has been fun!!!!

GRID WIDE GIFT - the "GIVE" tank

each year i pick a theme for my brand, and while thinking about it over the holidays, the word that kept coming to me was "GIVE". perhaps it was the realization over christmas that what a needed i already had, and the realization of just how blessed i was. wonderful family, friends, food & shelter, and some very nice "things" collected over the years, and when asked what i wanted for christmas, there was honestly nothing i could think of that i wanted. (quite a difference from when i used to be able to make lists with tons of things)

i passed this shirt out to my group on the 3rd of january with a little message about the theme for this year, "GIVE".

to me it means anything at anytime with any resources we have. time, compassion, truth, love, understanding, service, i never thought of money, until the haiti quake.

so i had made this shirt, and wanted it to be a grid wide free gift as a reminder to "give" a bit this year when ever you can, which whatever you have... and for me a rule is always with "joy". (that can happen even when it's hard too)

As the Ozimals sim opens today full of fun and surprises, Ozimals, along with Barnesworth Anubis & caLLie cLine announce a new partnership. Anubis and cLine will expand their Benedict & Florentine "pampered pet items" to include a new brand "veLveteen". Under the veLveteen brand, Anubis and cLine will create bunnie-centric items for Ozimals. The line will focus on bunnies homes and living environments.

Ozimals are the next generation of AI breedable pets brought to Second Life by the imaginative minds that brought the the successful Land of Oz to SL with the Magic of Oz sim. Heading up the team are Candy Cerveau and Malkavyn Eldritch. Cerveau and Eldritch have been working on the Ozimal concept and execution for the past several months and first animals Ozimals will offer will be bunnies. "I have always loved bunnies in real life and I thought that they would be a natural choice for a breedable pet because of their many varieties and endearing traits," said Cerveau when explaining the reason for choosing bunnies as the first Ozimal line of pets. "SL is limited by the absence of the tactile but bunnies are universally acknowledged as being soft and cuddly."

"I love bunnies too" says cLine. "After making our first houses for chickens, we heard bunnies were coming and kept that in mind as we were designing. We loved the idea of making things that were fun and a different for 'animal houses', and one day I told Barnes that I wanted to contact the bunnie people." She found out there were a few doing bunnies, and after speaking to Cerveau and hearing more of the Ozimals vision cLine was sold. "It's not everyday you meet folks who really have the passion and commitment to excellence I saw with the Ozimals team and I was confident we could attach our names and exclusivity to this project as we all really care about what we're making."

Cerveau had this to say about the new partnership, "when Barnesworth and Callie approached us to create an exclusive line of housing for the bunnies, I was thrilled. Barnesworth is an incredible builder and Callie has some very innovative ideas. We knew that any products that came out of that partnership would be fantastic." Both parties are excited about this new partnering and excited about working to create the most excellent products for the emerging pet market.

i love this time of year and this holiday. for americans we stop and take a day to reflect on our blessings and for me it's always a time of deep reflection and i always take time to really think about the blessings i have in my life.

i don't know a lot of you personally, yet being in this community i know a bit of you through your blogs and some interaction. i'm thankful for that. even what you may think is a "silly blog" or a not so good "outfit" or a "not my best" design, or, or, or... has in some way affected me.

i'll share a few examples of just SOME things i thought of in writing this post. this in NO way at all minimizes the impact anyone has on me but by sharing a few of these things maybe it will be some sort of an inspiration to see how much we really are blessed.

i LOVE seeing what lexi from stellar puts out, her little cute boots or jammies or whatever always makes me smile, after reflecting, i realized it's her persistance that i'm thankful for. (please excuse my misspelled words too)

i love when i see heidi's blog (fashionable heart) and the heart behind it, it makes me laugh when i see uma make almost anything look cute with a ciggy hanging out of her mouth, i want to say 'oh no i hope those ashes don't drop on that sweater!' it makes me smile when i see people's skill sets grow in their photos, posts, and everything.

i'm thankful when people post personal things often wishing i could be more like that, i'm touched when i read so much stuff, and i LOVE the creativity i see as SL grows and fashion changes. it's really something i am thankful to be a part of.

so yes this time of year i do like to reflect. i am a person who can easily get down, discouraged and depressed and when i stop to see the blessings ALL around me, from a warm house, to yes, even this broken computer that's not been fixed since june :( it makes me realize how very lucky i am.

so thank you to all of you who touch my life in ways you will never know, and ways i don't even know, until i take time to reflect. happy thanksgiving.

sorry! i guess some nice bloggers blogged these before i could get them out!!! but they are available NOW, in my main shop, right on the RIGHT as you walk in OR... on the stereo vogue sim HERE

here are the 3 types, one had a dark wood base with candy canes and stockings and gem changing ornaments. (on touch)

the next one is all snow covered, still with changing gem stones, but a bit less stuff on it,

looks nice with gowns, or whatever, each ornament again can be changed

so you can REALLY come up with some nice color combos.

the last pair has a traditional tree wood base and ornaments only, again that can be colored

to match your outfit :)

so make YOUR head happy or buy a few to give to friends! and you can all be a bunch of happy-headed people who love to run around looking like someone implanted reindeer horns or tree branches on your head! yay for SL fun stuff!

this is my outfit and winter tree for the 50L friday event :)

the outfit is brand new and comes with knit leggings, a classy top with a cute heart zipper back, a shrug sweater with sculptie neck and arm cuffs. the neck piece has a little jewel on it, and the sculptie parts are optional!

many of you know of the collaboration with my little friend (he is little) barnesworth anubis, our little pampered pet shop "benedict & florentine"... it was done primarily for chickens, (with bunnies in mind too as we knew someone was making them. AND for ALL pets us SL'ers love to have ;)

well it's about time for the chickens to MOVE IT ON OVER... and make room for the ozimals bunnies!!! we've been giving the sim a little facelift and it's soooooo cute :) from a bunnieburbia, to a fantasy garden, dark forest, and more, it's been so much fun!! i've even started making PLANTS AND TREESS!!! omg it's so so so much fun!

see... i've been still suffering the ill's of NOT having my main computer system up and running... LONG story... so i've been occupying my time doing other little things... one of which is working with barnesworth modifying some of our stuff for THE BUNNIES!!!

if you have NOT seen them, or HELD them (yes held) ok many have NOT held yet but you can hold them!!! YOU ARE IN FOR A TREAT!!!

here's one little garden it set up for my little bunnies (the beta ones as the others aren't out yet but will be soon)

introducing becca rivera, the newest caLLie cLine street model!

i used to have a STREET MODEL team comprised of mainly enthusiastic customers who had a flair for modeling, fashion and liked to wear my things.

we had a lot of fun with it, and today while in my shop this lovely girl was looking for things to accessorize a shirt and pair of pants. (from icing) we got to chatting and added a "fat belt" in black/silver and a "paisley parade" scarf, and a "cc signature bangle" (customer gift) her look really came together. we did a quick photo shoot on the spot and i asked her if she'd like to be a street model and she said "YES!!!" yay!!!

her photo will be displayed also in my store and she will have an offical "caLLie cLine cg model" tag she can wear when she is out and about wearing my stuff (if she wants to, as there are no OMG-you-weren't-wearing-your-cc-model-tag police out there on the grid... haha)

anyway thanks becca for being the inspiration behind reinstating my cc street model team.

so how can YOU be a CC street model? well it's sorta easy. if i or one of my employees sees you in my store sporting a very cool look that's stylish, fun or "funky, flirtatious and fabulous" we'll IM you and ask you if you would like to be a street model!

OR.............. be proactive and join the CAL GAL flickr group and submit photos of you in any CC items (free or bought) that you have and label it "cc street model" and make sure you put your avatar name on your photo and we will contact you if you are selected! WEEKEND UPDATE

this weekend i went to a party where we did the thriller line dance. sharon schumman is there on the left wearing "galaxy girl" and "clitter"... uh, if you've not heard of clitter, go to youtube, type it in, and watch. (it's funny but i guess some ppl may be offended) i made some for sl for FUN it's for sale at hotel dare in my CAL MART store...

speaking of stores, i just finished decorating my new little shop at the AMAZING new GLANCE sim. I LOVE THE BUILD and am SO thankful that they asked me to have a shop, it's a GREAT collection of artists/designers and the fantastic build done by babyhoney bailey is warm, inviting and like a street you'd see in a nice area like bel air but w/o that pretentious air i personally don't care for... oh clitter is available at glance too... my store there is an eclectic mix and I LOVE IT! i love mixing stuff i love together even if other people think it may not go together :) it's how i decorate my RL house and it's fun to have a shop in SL like that. i plan to have things ONLY available there, as well as CAL MART.. more on CAL MART later, lol.

so here are 2 photos! it's been a fun weekend and next week my new computer should be here and it will be back to work!

10 things.. or so

well, i've gotten a lot of positive response on my accidental "10 things" posts, no one mentioned if they noticed that one of them i only listed 5, hahaha. perhaps since i ramble on so, they just figured it was 10.

today what i've been thinking about is how good "grace and mercy" looks on those who wear it.

most of us know (well at least deep down inside) that we're not perfect, we don't always live up to our own set of ideals, or those of others. we make mistakes, have poor judgement at times, and do or say things we wish we'd not have done.

ok so what can we do when we find we have made a dreaded "mistake" and god forbid had it done publicly? AND ever more importantly how can we act when someone MAKES a mistake publicly and the ever-so-popular "herd mentality" kicks in to "crucify" the horrid "mistake maker!"

1. realize NO ONE is perfect. period. not YOU, not others NOT, me. end of story. if you live in the delusion that you are... "newsflash" everyone else knows it's not true. (well except maybe your mom or lovestruck partner)

2. realize that everyone makes mistakes they are embarrassed about! like do you REALLY think "said person" wanted to say, do, or otherwise act in a way that would have YOU, your amazing friends, and who knows who else blogging, gossiping OR passing chat around? i mean come on. i don't know of anyone who'd wish that on themselves.

3. realize that often people "react" instead of "act". this is NORMAL HUMAN BEHAVIOR. are YOU always so composed and graceful that you never make a social faux paus? doubtful huh?

4. when someone does do or say something which is "out of line" in your opinion or *gasp* that of many others resist the very tempting desire to "show them a thing or two" and let them know how BAD what they did was. (i'm sure they know)

5. if someone is doing or saying something that is an obvious mistake, why not IM them privately and say it rather than in open chat or even worse in a group chat? do you really need to let everyone else see how you "told them off". i mean is your ego that in need of validation that you need to "stop" the dreaded offender in the open?

*note the above does NOT apply to someone who is being horribly abusive or harassing, in that case it's often best to quickly and swiftly say it openly. i'm speaking of other things that happen in our "typed" world where mistakes and faux paus happen.

6. remember we're ALL in this together. we all mess up. how wonderful it feels when we do that to have someone say, "oh gosh i've done that before... i wanted to hide for days... don't think another thing about it!"

7. if the "offender" apologizes and "fesses up when they mess up" please do NOT do the "apology accepted just think next time." why? you look like a pompous snob and a mistake is JUST that. the point here is to extend a little "grace and mercy".

8. if you can, laugh it off with them. chances are the person feels so so so dumb and is gonna be thinking about this a whole lot longer than you are. demystify it and in that let them see you fully understand things like that happen.

9. be kind.

10. if need be, defend the "mistake maker" if others go after them. this can be tough but what's worse? a person who makes a social error or the tons of others who sit and do the school yard mentality of belittling them and scolding them as if they themselves have NEVER made a mistake? have the courage to stand up and say, "hey guys, let's stop this, we all blow it". if you do that not only will the "mistake maker" feel a lot better, so will a TON of other people who witness the situation as they will know you're a person who would defend them too in a similar situation.

wow! i did 10!

do i make social mistakes. uh... YES... in fact i just did one the other night... don't ask!

so extend a bit of grace this month, hell, why not all year? we need it, i need it, if you don't can you please let us all know where and how you learned to get it all togethah? i'm sure we'd all be most grateful!

i LOVE my customers. old and new, pink or blue... it's so much fun to meet them and some of my good friends in SL i met as customers.

since i've had computer issues all summer i've not gotten to do as many in store events, and a new customer who joined today was hoping to meet some of my great group so i decided to do a quick in store meet up.

i got to see a lot of new and old faces and it was GREAT!

i'm a bit reluctant at times to "buy ads" where i don't have input on the model or photography. if others do it on their own i'm fine, but when i am paying, i like to know i am going to like what is done and that's not possible.

when i agreed to be in the modivia fashion directory i was a bit unsure due to the reasons i just stated. when i say this photo, i have to say i was VERY happy. i wanted to share it with my readers as i just think they did a great job showing one of my favorite dresses, the divine double bubble.

so here it is!

this dress is available in my store in caLLiefornia upstairs in the gown section, it comes with a set of jewelry that includes earrings, a ring, and a bracelet. the jewelry has 12 gemstone options on touch so that you can customize your look by tinting the "gems" on the dress itself on the jacket layer.

i've seen some of my customers really do some interesting things with that feature :)

ok well yesterday's post got a lot of feedback too. since my graphics card issues are still not fixed i'm going to use this opportunity to share a bit more.

today... 10 things to try to strengthen an existing business or friendship relationship or otherwise known as "nice things to do that may cheer someone else up"

we all have days, week, years and stuff that SUCK EGGS! we can all relate to that huh? unless we live in utter denial (i try but it just does NOT work) we could all use a big of encouragement. even those we think of as uber successful, totally confident (not possible) or whatever we may think of some who seems to have it "all together" i can PROMISE YOU they do NOT and encouragement and nice things can really steer the course of someone's day in a very positive direction.

i find that VERY exciting, don't you?

ok so here are a few things we can try to just encourage each other along... i am thinking off the top of my head on this and some i do, have done or will do hopefully!

1. write your entire friends list and tell them you're thankful for them in your SL... this is FUN and OMG you will see the most interesting conversations emerge when a group of people start posting. it's a lot of fun.

2. send a little note of encouragement to a friend in SL you know is down. even a few words can really uplift someone.

3. write a Linden (pick one) and let them know you appreciate their efforts in making SL better, if you name something specific, even better!

4. visit a store of a "competitor" *gasp* and buy something you've been admiring for awhile. it's so much fun to actually SEE a REAL person who you know is a creator buy from you, and not just their alt.

5. invite a friend out for a 10 minute random tp adventure! (click on the map, go, then tp them! then let them do the same) this is one of my favorite games EVER... though once i ended up at the "diaper academy" (don't ask)

6. reach out to a friend who in your SL past was a bigger part and let them know (if it's true) that you miss them.

7. find 5 people on your list to just say HI to. (example: "hey, can't talk now but wanted to say hi and that i was thinking of you!")

8. send a few people a funny freebie. (i love the huge octopus) and name it, "the new black" must wear NOW.

9. say hello to a new person you may have recently met just to encourage them.

10. do one of those things you've been "meaning to do" when you had time. write that note, send that gift, just DO IT (sorry nike) :)

ok now since TIME is so limited, when doing anything that could turn into a long dialogue, simply state upfront, "i don't have time to talk but.. .wanted to send you this!"

i hope some of those things help you, i know i love when people take time to encourage me, i need it, daily... and anyway there ya go!

well, after yesterday's post i got a lot of feedback and a few asked me to share about another issue in SL... customers!!!! this is mostly for those who have businesses but it can be applied to a lot of other areas in life.

there are a lot of varying views on the importance of customers and how to treat them, what to let them get "away" with, etc. my view is pretty strong and i've followed it since day one.

"a customer is a person who of ALL the choices they have in SL, have chosen to spend their often LIMITED lindens in YOUR store." got it?

they do NOT have to buy your things.
you are NOT their only resource.
they have MANY choices.
they can LIVE without your item. (even if they think they can't)
there are many who do what you do better.
they have MANY choices.
they do NOT owe you anything, not even respect.
YOU are providing THEM something.
you don't have to like them and they don't have to like you.
they have MANY choices!
you can act how you want even if they don't like it.
NO ONE can make YOU do anything.

ok so now that i've listed what i believe are a few absolutes... let's get down to how i see customer service.

from when i first joined SL i realized there were many choices, i even put a coupon in EACH item saying 'thank you for your purchase, i know you have many choices' i was thankful someone would part with 499L on a dress i made. like thrilled.

so ok, people don't get things, people don't like things, people want to return things, people write to ask you what hair is on your ad, and some people even want you to pick their hair and skin to go with their item the got from you. it can be overwhelming at times.

ok for the most part i don't have nightmare customers. i never have. maybe one or two who were very angry about something, and i "think" in every case (unless they changed their minds) their issues were resolved to their satifaction, and then some.

i've had people yell, demand, insult, etc. and i do NOT get upset. i don't mute, ban or eject. i don't feel slighted. i don't get in a huff. i don't complain about them to everyone and do the "woe is me" designer thing.

why?

well a few reasons.

1. if someone is upset, they are going to act upset. it has nothing to do with me. they are upset and most likely venting. so let them vent, get it out of their system, let them type away w/o defending or demanding they "speak to you with respect"... i mean really, they are upset so just let them cool off.

2. they may feel totally justified in their rant, and actually they may have every right to be upset... so why get all upset yourself?

3. it's NOT that big of a deal. what is a big deal is how YOU handle it.

4. if you realize their value as a person and customer, how YOU choose to respond will be the key.

5. ACT do NOT react to an angry customer. (the difference is "action" is what you do independent of their behavior. "reaction" is what you do cuz "they made you do it!)

ok so... what am i trying to say.

realize that when someone is upset, they WANT to let you know. so let them know you know and you are comitted to doing everything you can to make it right. let them know early on 'i care about this issue and want you to know that i will do all i can to make sure you are VERY happy'. believe me this stops MOST people immediately. like WAIT, she WANTS to HELP ME? and i just called her a *&$#$#$*#( @#(*#(&$#*!!! wow!

personally i replace, resend, trans or no trans items and i usually throw in a few free things. my goal is TO KEEP THE CUSTOMER AND TURN THEIR NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE INTO A POSITIVE ONE.

i am often really appalled by some merchants who think their customers owe them all this respect and to speak to them like they are god's gift to the design world. news flash YOU'RE NOT!! neither am i, we're just parts of a greater community. not one of us is so AMAZING we should be treated like we're some sort of deity. save that for your role playing, hahaha.

if you WIN over an angry customer, in my experience you have a customer for life. if you LOSE one, they will make DAMN sure they tell EVERYONE they know. and again. YOU are not their only choice.

i personally LOVE to win over an angry person. i'm sorta weird that way. i try to see why they are so upset. and i love when we can resolve it.

again i don't get too many angry people maybe due to the fact i try to defuse it at the beginning by letting them know i am committed to making them happy.

do people take advantage of this? maybe. often? nope. usually i have people saying, "oh not this is too much, this will be fine".

when you really think of it, no one can "disrespect you" really. not unless you take angry people's words as some sort of huge offense. angry people yell. don't let it surprise you. i wish i had the maturity to always handle myself with composure when i am angry, but alas, i don't.

i have banned ONE person. i was happy to do it after many warnings. why? he was annoying MY customers over and over and i felt NO guilt, and it was the easiest time i hit "ban this avatar". of course he yelled at me but that is ONE thing i won't tolerate is hurting my customers. i value them and each time they step in my shop, i am thankful. i know there are about a bazillion infinity other places they could be shopping at.

that for me keeps things in perspective.

10 things i do... cuz i just do... and get asked a lot, so i'm sharing it with you.

i get asked a LOT about z DRAMA in SL fashion and thankfully, i don't really encounter too much of it. yes there are seasons where i do have a bit, but that pretty much goes with the territory of knowing people in ANY life.

i "try" to always believe the "best" in people, and that helps a lot as i'm not too suspicious of people who speak to me or whatever. i guess ignorance is bliss at times.

on those "rare" occasions where a really good "wolf in sheeps clothing" comes on the scene, i'm usually the last to figure it out... and well when i do, i'm sorta shocked. like i said, i tend to believe the best in people and choose to live that way. the very FEW who are real pieces of work are WAY less than the genuinely cool people i get to meet with and work with everyday.

ok so what are things i do when meeting people and stuff and then finding out someone has some MAJOR character issues...

1. believe the best. if you do, you see the best, and often get the best.

2. give freely and encourage ppl. why? it feels good, makes you and the person happy and honestly, what you give you get.

3. remember everyone has demons they deal with, often "weird" behavior is just that. don't see every weird thing as a huge major issue that has anything to do with you.

4. trust until someone proves untrustworthy. (this is hard, but often you can see signs at the beginning that will play themselves out) DON'T let past experiences ruin the possibilities that exists with new person you meet. you may miss out on a great person.

5. if others mistake your kindness as weakness, that's ok. you don't need to PROVE to someone you have strength by being as childish as they may be.

6. decide what YOUR principles are for doing business (or relationships), and stick to those. (you won't always make your ideal) it's really important to know where you want to be and why.

7. when a person proves to be NOT what they have claimed. GO TO THEM FIRST. don't blog it, gossip, (venting to a close friend is different), ban them, etc. have the courage to personally contact them. they may not like it but it's a great opportunity to work things out. also if it fails, you can know you gave them the chance to fix what they did. when it does work out, which is often most of the time, the person and you will now have a better understanding of each other and often the best friendships withstand these human instances.

8. if a DRAMA issue does NOT work when you have gone to the person... just put your head back to YOUR goals and move on. don't worry about revenge, and all that, believe me, in EVERY instance, you will see them do the SAME thing over and over and remember "if they do it to you, they do it to others"... eventually most people find out. you don't need to ruin your time or energy on their nonsense. (this isn't always easy so perhaps find a friend that can keep you on course.)

(now if this is something illegal in SL business, etc. just AR them, don't tell them, just do it.)

9. stay close to those with GOOD reputations. people earned good reps for a reason. people earned bad ones too. also, look at the person who "gives you their opinion" on someone else... are they 'QUICK' to gossip? well guess what, "if they do it to others.. they ARE doing it about you too"

10. keep being the BEST you can be. if you MESS UP, FESS up! own it, make sincere apologies. NO ONE is perfect. we all know that. it takes a lot of courage to say "you know i messed up big time, will you forgive me for that? i was so wrong" it takes none to say "oh sorry... i mean... uh... yeah sorry... this is the reason......" in other words... do JUDGE someone on HOW they handle their mistakes. that will tell you a WHOLE lot more about a person than how they may flatter or put their best foot forward.

wow, hard to believe summer is almost over! it's been an interesting summer for sure. the main lesson of this summer has been PATIENCE!!! mostly due to computer issues that still have NOT been resolved. even the BRAND NEW computer i was sent arrived with a graphics card issue! i was convinced SL was breaking my computers, but alas, the techs convinced me otherwise so the "new" replacement for the "new" computer that replaced the "old" computer should be here next week...

not having access to all my files led me down some interesting creative paths, i finally got to collaborate with one of my favorite SL residences, barnesworth anubis on "benedict & florentine" which is a shop that sells "posh" stuff for pampered pets & poultry. part of SO CAL is "chickywood" another part is "bunnywood" and it's full of fun stuff for chickens and pets and some ADORABLE breedable bunnies are coming out SOON, and well more on that LATER but OH MY will you be in store for some uber cuteness.

i've also expanded my consulting services and taken on some great new clients who really are passionate about what they are creating and i'm thrilled to be able to be of some assistance to them as they pursue their dreams with excellence and passion. i'll be adding on a few more, just because i really enjoy it.

i also got to speak at SLCC this year via SL on a panel with Harper Beresford, and Rusch Raymaker. it was a really nice session on fashion branding and marketing in SL and we had a full house in SL and i think a nice live crowd. due to the key note speaker going long and me being the only one in SL on the panel, i decided to grab my geetar and make up some songs oh about lag, uh, SL, and the poor folk in the crowd even sang along on, uh... i don't remember.

i think the sudden surge of boldness came from lack of sleep and the excitement of my RL birthday party which was later that day.

well now i am wrapping up a job for 'manpower' one of the world's largest staffing firms. it is a fun project and will have some really nice clothing pieces in a business casual vein for the folks who visit manpower island.

i've also gone on a long blog feed diet and so i have pretty much NO clue what's happening in fashion... and... hehe

oh the fashion blogger group is doing great, oh and i was invited to open the very last fashion shows at the black swan sims which was SO MUCH FUN!! i LOVE runway modeling and plan on doing more in the upcoming year.

HMMM what else... i know there's more... well i can't remember right now but soon...

Barnesworth Anubis and i have wanted to collaborate on a project for a couple of years now but nothing really struck us. when i showed him my little cute indoor 'chic' house i was making for my new *gasp* chicken, and told him i'd love to make a whole shop of stuff for "pampered poultry" (and pets) and after he saw the cute baby chicky, he said YES!!!

so now... here is a teaser of one of our little chicken (and pet) "chateaus" available in in SO CAL at the Benedict & Florentine boutique. more on this later today... but we have been open for business for about 2 weeks...

inspired, humbled & refocused... to love

i am filled with so much emotion, hope, joy, as i watch the michael jackson memorial service. there is so much hope, love, and despite the "freaky" aspects or other things one could say, i'm profoundly touched at this moment.

the glorious gospel music, and heartfelt sentiments, and all this has really given me a deeper glimpse into the heart and artistry of michael jackson. though his music wasn't always my "style" i can't argue with how it touches me.

i am learning more about the passion he carried to touch people which has always been what i hope for my life, often it's hard to keep going as an "artist" even just as a person, when you get discouraged, dragged down, and watching this, i can see how all his labors were so worth it to so many.

i am all over feeling inspired 2 rethink judging anyone on what media says, rumors, gossip, realizing rarely do we see the depths inside a humans heart... and being able to see that is a sacred gift.

this service touched me in a way that i pray lasts and inspires me to go for my dreams without fear but with courage and conviction after seeing how many lives he touched, it all seems worth it.

well, i write this post with a happy heart, my dear friend neferia is such a blessing and joy to know that i can't help but smile as i write this. we have shared some very sweet dear times in sl, and this was one night we put on each other clothes and went to s fun sim and acted like silly happy girls. we talked many times about collaborating but our schedules never really opened up enough. we shared some fun sweet talks, showed each other photos of RL stuff, and she is truly one of the most dear people i have ever met in sl. i simple adore her. her kindness, artistry, love, encouragement, and authenticity. she was always there to encourage me, she was one of the very few who came to the opening of my sim. she supported me and i am proud to call her a true friend. i can't say enough about her, just a sweet wonderful person. i will miss her for now, but hope she will be back... and i wont ever forget her... COME BACK SOON MISS NEFFY! I'VE LOVED EVERY MOMENT WE HAD TOGETHER AND YOU HAVE ALL MY LOVE AND RESPECT!
